Frequently Asked Questions

Our treatments are covered by extended health care benefits.

Prior to starting treatment, we recommend you double-check that you’re covered with your Extended Health Manual or speak with your HR department or your insurance company directly.

Once everything is sorted out and you’re indeed covered, we will bill your insurance company directly.

You don’t need any referrals to come to our clinic for treatments.

However, this might be a condition of your extended benefits plan. We advise checking your Extended Health Care Benefits Manual if they require a physician’s referral for purposes of reimbursement.

If you’re a new patient, please plan for a longer initial visit.  Each modality (Chiropractic, Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy) will have their own specific requirements and therefore time may vary .

All subsequent or follow-up appointments will have a specific amount of time allotted and that will be specified to you as you book them.

We evaluate the length of treatment based on your individual condition during the first assessment visit. Should your condition improve or change along the way, we will adjust your treatment plan accordingly.

Your therapist will assess your condition, devise a treatment plan and communicate this with you at the initial assessment.

During the initial assessment, a therapist will interview you, conduct a thorough evaluation and proceed with treatment so you can benefit from your experience immediately.

Follow up appointments vary depending on your condition.

Treatments may involve:

  • Education on your injury and how to optimize recovery,
  • Manual therapy (hands-on treatment),
  • Modalities – ultrasound treatment, acupuncture and an exercise program.
